Internet threats. fintech.net's security methodology addresses
the challenge with a multi-level approach, incorporating culture,

Additionally, fintech.net engaged Ernst & Young LLP in January 2000
to prepare a SAS 70 Type II report, evaluating our controls over
physical and logical access security and system availability. In
accordance with AICPA regulations, a SAS 70 report can only be
provided to existing customers and their auditors, therefore the
contents cannot be displayed on our web site. If you would like

What is a SAS 70? |
 |
 |
A Statement of Auditing Standards Number 70 report is a service
auditor's report on a service organization's (i.e.,fintech.net)
description of its controls that may be relevant to a user
organization's internal control as it relates to an audit of
financial statements, on whether such controls were suitably
designed to achieve specified control objectives, and on whether
they had been placed in operation as of a specific date.
A SAS 70 Type I report contains a description of the IT controls
and the auditor's opinion on their adequacy to achieve management's
objectives. A SAS 70 Type II report goes further and offers the
auditor's opinion as to whether the controls have actually been
implemented effectively. fintech.net received a Type II report in
March 2000.
