2009 Governors Business Diversification Award
This prestigious award recognizes exceptional contributions toward statewide economic diversification through job creation and distinctive community involvement and investment. Governor Charlie Crist presented the award on September 17th, 2009 at the Governor's Club in Tallahassee. Fintech was chosen for demonstrating a commitment to creating jobs for Floridians, increasing capital investment and promoting corporate citizenship.
2009 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year
This is the most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. Recognized globally, the award honors the most outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. Award recipients are selected by an independent judging panel of regional business, academic and community leaders and are recognized for building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. The awards gala was held at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, Thursday, June 11th, 2009.
2006-2009 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recognizes businesses that act as leaders in their communities, consistently demonstrate smart business planning and excellent customer service and show a true commitment to their employees. This is the fourth year Fintech has received the honor by the US Chamber. to customers, employees, and the community.
2009 Outstanding Leader of the Year Award
The Tampa Greater Chamber of Commerce recognizes and awards companies based on financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. The awards ceremony, held at the Tampa Convention Center on September 25th, was attended by over 1,000 local civic leaders, politicians and business owners.
2005 Small Business of the Year Award
