Quaker Steak & Lube - Clearwater, FL

The year was 1974; the country was in the midst of its first gas crisis and the price of gasoline was skyrocketing. Speed limits were soon to be set at 55 M.P.H. nationwide, gas stations were closing and the call went out to develop cars that got better mileage...but what to do with those old gas stations and high-powered muscle cars?

Enter George "Jig" Warren III and Gary "Moe" Meszaros to save the day. Well maybe not necessarily the entire day, but certainly one old gas station and a bunch of muscle cars, by turning the abandoned station into the Quaker Steak & Lube, a "Cook Your Own Steak" restaurant. They gave the cars, which included a 1936 Chevrolet, frozen in time on the original hydraulic grease rack, a loving home. The concept was so successful that Jig and Moe were able to hire a cook so their customers no longer had to do their own cooking, and the menu was expanded to include a variety of family friendly foods, including chicken wings.

It is from these beginnings that the Quaker Steak & Lube family of restaurants began. Today, "The Lube" serves over 50 million wings annually, has 16 bottled sauces for retail sale, has won the title of "Best Wings USA," and has over 100 local, national, and international awards for their sauce recipes. With 20 current locations in seven states, "The Lube" is still rescuing muscle cars, vintage cars, trucks and a vast selection of custom and antique motorcycles, giving them good homes hanging from the walls and ceilings in each restaurant.

Fintech has eliminated the payment issues that I had with the vendors. I know that the payments will be made properly and on-time so that I stay in compliance and do not have vendors chasing me for payments. Resolving these payment issues it has saved me time that would have been wasted.

The Charleston Crab House

The Charleston Crab House began serving the 'lowcountry' 17 years ago. We are still going strong as ever, serving over 300,000 customers every year. The Crab House prides itself in being the locals favorite seafood restaurant in a town with many choices of great restaurants.

In 2008, we are opening a new concept named CONCH on Folly Beach outside of Charleston. We will be serving island food - island style, and all will be having a great time on the beach.

We are fortunate to have Fintech as one of our accounting partners that no one ever hears about because they continue to go about their business effectively but quietly in a business where everyone else wants public recognition.

Hurricane Grill and Wings / IR One Holdings

Hurricane Grill and Wings of Vero opened the doors to our first restaurant on December 12, 2007 located at 1555 US Highway 1, Vero Beach, Florida. Sales have been strong and have resulted in the Vero Beach Franchise to either lead or be in the top two in weekly sales for all franchises in the chain since opening date.

Plans are currently under way for a second store to open in late summer 2008 located at 1820 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida along the western corridor of town by the ownership team of Dan Steinberg, Norm Spector, and Paul Oser. By early 2009, a third store will open in the City of Okeechobee, Florida.

Our team would like to thank Fintech for their support during the hectic opening period of our first restaurant. We appreciate the facilitation allowed between our restaurant and beer distributors and would recommend their valuable service to anyone planning to open a restaurant or bar in Florida.

Jake's Hamburgers

Jake's Hamburgers is a fast, casual, full service restaurant that has been serving the Dallas area since 1985. We have three locations open now at 2702 McKinney Ave #101, Dallas, TX; 6606 Skillman Ave, Dallas, TX; 701 W. Parker Rd, Plano, TX; and are currently in the process of opening a new location at 5505 Beltline Rd in Addison, TX. We are open Sunday thru Wednesday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm; Thursday thru Saturday we are open until midnight. We have also have been voted Best of City Search and best hamburger by D Magazine.

Fintech makes accounting easy by providing a direct debit at the time of invoice. Our sales representative Cory Conway has provided excellent service from the day we started.
