Hospitality USA Investment Group, Inc.
Hospitality USA Investment Group, Inc. was formed in 1995 by principals Larry Martin and Edgar Carlson to design and operate multiple, full-service restaurants and pubs.
Carlson and Martin met in college at a time when both worked as bartenders in Houston. They developed a long lasting friendship while learning the pub business in a variety of locations. In 1995, they took on the challenge of creating and fine-tuning a unique concept, Sherlock's Baker St. Pub.
Today the partners are owners of Houston based Hospitality USA Investment Group, Inc. and have vaulted Sherlock's Baker St. Pubs from a single neighborhood pub to a growing national chain.
In addition to the original Sherlock's Baker St. Pub in Houston, Hospitality USA now operates locations in San Antonio, Addison, Arlington, Sugar Land, Austin, with opening projects in Ft. Worth, Oklahoma City and Denver. Hospitality USA is currently adding 3 - 4 venues annually in the National market.
Fintech works really well for us. It cuts time on delivery and saves money by not having to issue checks. Customer service is great! We have added several locations since we first starting using Fintech and are very pleased!

Whole Foods
Founded in 1980 as one small store in Austin, Texas, Whole Foods Market(R) is now the world's leading retailer of natural and organic foods, with 168 stores in North America and the United Kingdom. To date, Whole Foods Market remains uniquely mission driven: We're highly selective about what we sell, dedicated to stringent quality standards, and committed to sustainable agriculture. We believe in a virtuous circle entwining the food chain, human beings and Mother Earth: each is reliant upon the others through a beautiful and delicate symbiosis.
Whole Foods
We obtain our products locally and from all over the world, often from small, uniquely dedicated food artisans. We strive to offer the highest quality, least processed, most flavorful and naturally preserved foods. Why? Because food in its purest state-unadulterated by artificial additives, sweeteners, colorings and preservatives-is the best tasting and most nutritious food available.
Whole People
We recruit the best people we can to become part of our team. We empower them to make their own decisions, creating a respectful workplace where people are treated fairly and are highly motivated to succeed. We look for people who are passionate about food. Our team members are also well-rounded human beings. They play a critical role in helping build the store into a profitable and beneficial part of its community.
Whole Planet
We believe companies, like individuals, must assume their share of responsibility as tenants of Planet Earth. On a global basis we actively support organic farming-the best method for promoting sustainable agriculture and protecting the environment and the farm workers. On a local basis, we are actively involved in our communities by supporting food banks, sponsoring neighborhood events, compensating our team members for community service work, and contributing at least five percent of total net profits to not-for-profit organizations.
Successful Relationship with Fintech
The transition of the payment method for our beer and wine purchases to the Fintech method was a seamless process for our retail operations. The best benefit however, was the amount we have eliminated from our balance sheet in the form of escrow amounts we had to maintain for each vendor. Our cost of capital decreased by nearly $90K on an annual basis as a result of converting to the Fintech method.

We have really enjoyed using Fintech and (Wow) what a great response from our delivery team and accounting departments. It is such a time saver for everyone.
Fintech and their employees have always answered my questions and keep in touch to let to let us know about any changes or updates they have to their retailer or vendor listing. With computers and electronic opportunities being the wave of the future we are glad that we are a part of Fintech.

Farrell Distributing Corp.
In the four plus years that we have been utilizing Fintech as our EFT provider, we haven't had a single retailer leave the program. In fact, most multiple outlet retailers say that Fintech has simplified their payment systems, provided excellent accountability, and saved time and money versus their manual system!
Many retailers comment that they especially like the ability to download their payment transactions directly into their own bookkeeping systems. This definitely saves keypunching time and helps to eliminate errors.
