OneSource - The single source data transformation solution
Fintech OneSource invoice payment and data services are designed to address the unique data and compliance challenges that exist between retailers and alcoholic beverage suppliers.
Tremendous cost savings and business benefits can be gained by exchanging business documents with trading partners via electronic data interchange (EDI). The Alcoholic beverage segment generally presents the largest barriers to realizing these benefits and cost savings. Fintech's OneSource removes those barriers by providing alcoholic beverage suppliers and retailers a single source solution that allows them to easily exchange invoice information and collect payments electronically with you via Fintech's secure network.
Fintech OneSource is the only single source solution available to transform ALL alcoholic beverage suppliers' EDI and electronic commerce data to their retailer's specific requirements. This solution allows retailers and suppliers to conduct EDI, EFT and electronic commerce utilizing complete data transformation, transport and security. This is accomplished via support for any-to-any data mapping including traditional EDI standards, XML, other standardized data formats as well as proprietary file formats.
With Fintech OneSource, supplier data is transformed into their retailer's specific format and communicated to the retailer. Since the retailer is not communicating with the supplier directly, there is no mapping or development required from the retailer's EDI resources. Fintech's direct integration with all major Route Accounting Software (RAS) packages makes this a reality.
Fintech OneSource provides:
-Compliance. The Fintech service is approved by 47 states, the District of Columbia and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
-Data Transformation. Ability to exchange business data using the Internet regardless of trading partner's size or IT structure.
-Participation. Gain small supplier contribution to your electronic commerce initiatives.
-Lowered Costs. A single source providing electronic invoicing and data transformation for all trading partners
No matter what your data transformation, electronic commerce or communication needs, Fintech OneSource is the only solution that will help you achieve invoicing, electronic funds transfer and EDI participation from all retailers and alcoholic beverage suppliers.
With Fintech OneSource, retailers and suppliers can easily comply with trading partner requirements by using Fintech's secure and scalable solutions to communicate in any environment. Fintech traffics this data to and from the retailer and supplier via specified communication preferences - EDI VANs, EDI over the Internet, AS2 and many other communication protocols.
As your needs grow and change, our team of veteran EDI professionals, with their wide variety of industry and integration experiences, ensures that those needs will always be met.
Washington, D.C. - Smaller, publicly traded restaurant companies soon may receive relief from the strict rules and significant costs associated with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
An advisory council set up by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has voted unanimously to recommend to the SEC that certain small public companies be exempt from parts of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) which was enacted to combat corporate scandals like those at Enron. The act requires a high level of transparency surrounding financial reporting.
In a draft of its proposal, the advisory council suggested to fully exempt companies with market capitalizations less than $128.2 million from Section 404 of SOX, which requires a management report on the company's internal control over financial reporting and an external auditor among other rules. The committee also proposed a more limited exemption to companies with market capitalization between $128.2 million and $787.1 million.
Fintech client, Kona Grill, Inc., a nine-unit restaurant operator that went public in August 2005, has filed a statement in support of the advisory committee's recommendations. The company said it incurred "considerable costs" on SOX compliance and that current rules "increase the cost of capital for, and place an undue burden on, small companies."
Fintech maintains an annual Type II SAS 70 Audit to help clients comply with Sarbanes-Oxley. Please contact Walter Pickel, COO at 813.288.1980 x242 if you have any questions about Fintech's annual Type II SAS 70 Audit.

Fintech Honored as Recipient of Two Awards
Since being awarded the Tampa Bay 2005 Business of the Year, Fintech has received two more awards - the Blue Ribbon Business award given by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay award given by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce designed the Blue Ribbon award to honor businesses that showed excellence in a variety of selection criteria, including financial performance and business history, staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service, and business planning. "Winners of the Blue Ribbon Award have served their employees, customers, and communities with a consistent dedication that exemplifies America's spirit of enterprise," said Giovanni Coratolo, executive director of the U.S. Chamber Small Business Council.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal's Best Places to Work award recognizes achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions, and company culture. The winners are determined based on the results of an anonymous survey that each employee completes, as well as information provided by the company. Referring to the Best Places to Work winners, Tampa Bay Business Journal publisher Arthur Porter said "they recognize employees as their best asset, instrumental in maintaining the quality and reputation for services and products."
Fintech is proud to be recognized for its commitment to its customers, employees, and the community.
