Fintech has conducted an annual SAS70 Type II review every year since 2005. The SAS70 review evaluates our control objectives and control activities including adequate internal controls and safeguards to host and/or process data, quality control procedures, physical and logical access security, and system availability. In accordance with AICPA regulations, a SAS 70 report can only be provided to existing customers and their auditors, therefore the contents cannot be displayed on our web site.

What is a SAS 70?
A Statement of Auditing Standards Number 70 report is a service auditor's report on a service organization's (i.e.,Fintech) description of its controls that may be relevant to a user organization's internal control as it relates to an audit of financial statements of the user organization (i.e. Fintech's customers),on whether such controls were suitably designed to achieve specified control objectives, and on whether they had been placed in operation as of a specific date. Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 makes SAS 70 audit reports even more important to the process of reporting on the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting.
 
A SAS 70 Type I report contains a description of the IT controls and the auditor's opinion on their adequacy to achieve management's objectives. A SAS 70 Type II report goes further and includes the auditor's opinion as to whether the controls have actually been implemented effectively. Fintech receives a Type II SAS70 annually.
